large quartz cab with epidote crystals
Large 485+ct Clear Brasilian Quartz with numerous well-defined Green Epidote Crystals. This material is available in smaller sizes out there on the market, including in All That Glitters inventory, but to have such a large water clear piece with transparent green crystals, is very uncommon. (The price per carat for smaller pieces is far higher than the price per carat of this piece - to be marked at the same price per carat would mean this piece would have a price tag of just under $3,500 - and that price could be more of the expected price if one were to find a similar one for sale.) Great for display in a curio cabinet or as a paperweight. (mpnto-17-01) $1,455 (Only $3/ct!) Click on the above image to view a closeup of the needles...
mozambique terminated green-blue tourmaline crystal
mozambique terminated green-blue tourmaline crystal
Very lucky to find and purchase this beauty from Mozambique. Crystals from the mines in this locality of the world just aren't often seen. From the Naipa Mine, Zambebia Province, Mozambique - Terminated Green-Blue Tourmaline Crystal - 57.75cts. Color is predominately a very nice blue but depending on the lights we see a greenish blue color also. Transparent, terminated, with striations, other small parallel crystals on the side, just a beauty in general. These mines in Mozambique are known to produce Tourmalines containing copper (Cuprian Tourmaline). Some colors can be an indication of copper bearing gems/minerals, but many times it must be tested in a lab to determine the elemental make-up. We have seen neony Tourmalines that everyone would think contains copper and doesn't, and others that are pretty and not very bright, but do contain copper! (and many colors such as the purples and pinks from this area of the world do indeed contain copper....) (ftgu-17-01) $2,700

Fine Herkimer Diamond Cluster

When a fine specimen like this is discovered in a collection, one has to try to purchase it. Took some negotiations and lots of thought on the sellers side... Don't see many of these in such a nice cluster/formation, clear, large, etc. Collected in the 1980s - Quartz, Var. Herkimer Diamond, Ace of Diamond Mines, Middleville, Herkimer Co., New York. Measures about 2.5" on one side. Nice curve, sort of looks like a question mark. Nice typical Herkimer inclusions. Seven crystals make up this piece - mostly water clear as you can see, with the beautiful contrasting inclusions. The second largest crystal seems to have a hint of color when on a white surface. (tcc-16-01) $1,275
Lemurian Terminated Quartz Crystal with Unique Etching and Orange Crystals!
unusual lemurian quartz crystal
unusual lemurian quartz crystal
unusual lemurian quartz crystal
Lemurian Quartz Crystal from Brasil with unusual etchings and small orange crystals on the surface. Measures appox 5"x1.5". Prices on Lemurian Crystals in Tucson are very high (into the thousands at times). This particular specimen is even more unique with these etchings and colored minerals on the surface - so unique that it had to be added to the All That Glitters inventory. One could also slice/cut this and utilize the etchings on the surface as an interesting back of a gemstone or cabinet piece when lit properly. The origin of this unusual crystal is Bueno'polis, Brasil. (brazimp-13-03) $750
fine examples of orthoceras fossibls from morocco
From the All That Glitters Collection: Very fine detailed examples of Orthoceras Fossils from Morocco. Purchased for the All That Glitters office about 3 decades ago and have been on display since that timeframe. Very sharp details, multi-specimens in one piece, aethetically pleasing and one has some beautiful brown lines accenting the piece and which are not common to see this color within these fossil specimens. The length of these is between approximately 5"-6" long. Both come with plastic stands as shown, priced to move at only $100, including Shipping/Insurance. Note - U.S. Shipping Only; Inquire for International Shipping.

Large Natural Diamond Crystal with Wonderful Inclusion!
natural diamond crystal with hydrogen cloud
natural diamond crystal with hydrogen cloud natural diamond crystal with hydrogen cloud
Natural Diamond Crystal weighing 2.82ct with an incredible dark Hydrogen Cloud in one half of the perfect octahedron crystal - which depending on the angle viewed, is mirrored to the other section! The original piece was frosted on the outside, so only the flat surfaces were polished so one could see the the Hydrogen Cloud without issue. The edges and girdle still show the original frosting. Country of origin is Zimbabwe and the body color of the crystal is off-white(light beige). These unique one-of-a-kind pieces are not found often and it is a great pleasure for us to be able to offer beauty to our customers at the present time. $7,500 (kjcl-15b-06)
red burmese spinel crystal with natural triangle on surface
1.77ct Natural Burmese Red Spinel Crystal with a natural triangle on one surface. Rare and we have only seen this in photos/magazines until we encountered this one - which of course, we had to add to the All That Glitters inventory. Sometimes occurs with two triangles rotated and overlapping, creating a Star of David. Nice red color and one can spend hours looking internally at the inclusions, which include octahedron crystals most likely other Spinels. A new interesting article on a 'similar' Spinel crystal has been published in Gems and Gemology Magazine. It does note that gas/liquid/bubbles are rare in Spinel - if one spends the time looking intently within this crystal, one might find something similar. (vsmith-16-01) $500 SOLD!

natural blue sapphire crystal from Sri Lanka
This is another WOW mineral/crystal specimen. Origin is Sri Lanka, weighs 14.08cts and measures approx 20mm long, is doubly terminated and as one can see in the photos, can stand on it's own as one termination is flat - a unqiue termination...and the other termination is what is typically expected for Sapphire. Color is blue, which is another plus. There are striations as well as divots from other crystals growing next to it. Just a wonderful piece to admire natures beauty, and also the perfect size if one wanted to make a pendant (a woman or man's pendant could certainly be created with this piece). Larger photos are available upon request. (egaj-15-82) $7,500
quartz/amethyst slice with crystal inclusion
